Leopardrama’s development slate is testament to a passion for distinct voices and authored pieces across a diverse range of genres encompassing feature films, primetime series and serials, comedy-drama and children’s drama.
Most recently Leopardrama co-produced its first feature film THE HOLDING (Writer: James Dormer), released by Lionsgate in autumn 2011.
Previous single films for television include the award-winning AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK/ITV1 (Brian Fillis). Nominated for two BAFTAs in 2010 AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK saw John Hurt reprise his iconic role as Quentin Crisp. This time the story moves forward to Quentin’s New York years and looks at the fresh challenges Quentin faced as politics and age catch up with him.
For ITV Leopardrama also produced MYSTERIOUS CREATURES (Gwyneth Hughes). Starring Brenda Blethyn and Timothy Spall, MYSTERIOUS CREATURES is a bold and unflinching study of two parents struggling to deal with their unstable daughter and ultimately deciding suicide is the only way out.
MISSING, a crime drama series starring Pauline Quirke for BBC1 signalled Leopardrama’s move into series. MISSING was broadcast in 2009 and returned in 2010 for a second series.
