Following the success of the previous three series, Missing 2011 returns with five programmes across the week, each featuring emotional films about people missing from home and their families. Each film follows the police as they investigate high risk and long term cases supported by the organisation ‘Missing People'. The programmes include appeals for information, moving studio interviews with the families left behind and and from time to time with families who've been reunited. Across the week, there'll be special celebrity guest appearances including Brenda Blethyn and Gaynor Faye and updates on some famous Missing stories from the recent past.
